1. Acceptance of Terms
By using this website and requesting services from RC Exteriors, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Description
RC Exteriors provides professional siding installation, replacement, and repair services. Our scope includes vinyl, fiber cement, wood, engineered, board & batten siding, and trim & accent work. All services are performed by licensed, experienced professionals.
3. Estimates and Quotes
- All estimates are free and provided without obligation
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance
- Prices may be subject to change if project scope changes significantly
- Material costs are subject to market fluctuations
4. Payment Terms
- A 50% deposit is required to schedule your project
- Final payment (50%) is due upon project completion
- We accept cash, check, credit card, and electronic payments
- Payment plans may be available for qualified customers
5. Project Schedule
We will provide an estimated project timeline. While we strive to meet scheduled dates, weather conditions and unforeseen circumstances may cause delays. RC Exteriors will communicate promptly if delays are anticipated.
6. Warranties and Guarantees
Workmanship Warranty:
RC Exteriors guarantees all workmanship for 5 years from the completion date. This covers defects in installation and craftsmanship.
Material Warranties:
Materials are covered by manufacturers' warranties. We handle warranty claims on behalf of our customers. Warranty terms vary by material (typically 10-25 years).
Warranty Limitations:
Warranties do not cover damage caused by extreme weather, improper maintenance, settlement of the home, or unauthorized repairs.
7. SMS Communication
By providing your phone number and consenting to SMS communications, you agree to receive text messages from RC Exteriors including appointment reminders, project updates, service information, and promotional messages. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message.
8. Cancellation Policy
- Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 days before the scheduled start date
- If cancelled more than 7 days in advance, your deposit will be refunded minus any materials already ordered (non-returnable)
- Cancellations within 7 days of start date will forfeit the deposit
- Once work has begun, project cancellation requires payment for all completed work plus any materials ordered
9. Liability and Insurance
RC Exteriors carries comprehensive liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance. Proof of insurance is available upon request.
RC Exteriors is not responsible for damage to property, landscaping, or existing structures not directly related to siding installation work.
10. Limitation of Liability
RC Exteriors' total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid for services. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Customer Responsibilities
- Provide access to the work area during scheduled hours
- Identify any hidden utilities or hazards before work begins
- Perform regular maintenance as recommended
- Report any issues immediately upon discovery
12. Site Preparation
RC Exteriors will prepare the work site as needed for installation. The customer is responsible for notifying us of any utilities or items requiring special handling.
13. Cleanup
RC Exteriors will clean up job site debris daily and perform final cleanup upon project completion. Landscaping and interior areas are customer responsibility.
14. Weather and Conditions
Work may be postponed due to unsafe weather conditions. RC Exteriors will reschedule at the earliest possible date without penalty to either party.
15. Changes to Terms
RC Exteriors reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
